The Pulse Divert Switch 90 transfer unit for 24V and 48V applications is the logical next step in our development of  90° transfer unit offerings. Thanks to the new transfer concept, in which the roller bed and transfer belts move alternately, the PDS-90 achieves a throughput of 1,800+ parcels per hour.

The PDS-90 is a modular 90-degree transfer unit for high-performance, flexible and safely designed conveyor systems. Its scalable design means it is available in seven configuration variants that accommodates conveyor between frame (BF) designs from from 15" to 34". This allows the unit to be precisely adapted to different system layouts and material flows. 

Designed for 24V and 48V systems, the PDS-90 enables a significant increase in throughput. With a capacity of 1,800+ pieces per hour, it offers a significant increase in conveyor capacity compared to conventional 90-degree transfer units (~ 1,200 pieces per hour). Loads of up to 110 lbs can be handled reliably. 

The transfer of the conveyed goods is stroke-free. When switching between roller beds and transfer belts, the conveying elevation remains unchanged so that the conveyed goods are not lifted. This ensures a smooth, material-friendly transition and supports a continuous, trouble-free material flow – even with sensitive or heavy goods. 

A maintenance-friendly design concept contributes to high system availability. All service work can be carried out via the top access – there is no need to crawl under the conveyor. In addition, there is no need to retention the belts, which reduces maintenance and minimizes unplanned downtime. Integrated broken belt detection supports rapid fault localization and helps to further reduce downtime.

The PDS-90 is available in a freezer rated design.
